Double Kayak Rental

Double kayaking is super fun for those who want to be together on the water; couples, parents with children, and buddies. Everybody is welcome and a double kayak can help share the workload of paddling. We often recommend these kayaks for those parties who have experienced and beginner members and couples on a date. 

Whether you have paddled before or not, we have the staff and equipment to make you feel ready for your adventure. During the course of your hire you will be able to paddle from our waterside base located within Mercury Yacht Harbour on the Hamble River, explore up and down the river, and enjoy the hospitality of the marina. 

Please arrive 20 minutes before your booked hire time as this will allow you to, sign in, get changed and have the induction briefing.

You will receive a brief overview of the equipment and technique on land outside Hamble Paddle before collecting your equipment and walking it down to the water's edge.

Minimum age 12 years old. (No Exceptions will be made)

All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult on the activity.

Suitable clothes for weather conditions.

Sun cream, hat, and sunglasses.

Change of clothes

Towel

Mobile phone - advised to take on water in a dry bag.

Deposit Item (Bank card, Car Keys etc).

Money for an after paddle coffee, slice of cake or even an Ice cream at the Gaff Rigger.
