Kayak Rental

Kayaking is another great way to explore the river via paddling. Being sat low to the water, it can feel a bit more comfortable for those of lower mobility and is great for longer distances. 

Whether you have paddled before or not, we have the staff and equipment to make you feel ready for your adventure. During the course of your hire you will be able to paddle from our waterside base located within Mercury Yacht Harbour on the Hamble River, explore up and down the river, and enjoy the hospitality of the marina. 

Please arrive 20 minutes before your booked hire time as this will allow you to, sign in, get changed and have the induction briefing.

You will receive a brief overview of the equipment and technique on land outside Hamble Paddle before collecting your equipment and walking it down to the water's edge.

Minimum age 12 years old. (No Exceptions will be made)

All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult on the activity.

Suitable clothes for weather conditions.

Sun cream, hat, and sunglasses.

Change of clothes

Towel

Mobile phone - advised to take on water in a dry bag.

Deposit Item (Bank card, Car Keys etc).

Money for an after paddle coffee, slice of cake or even an Ice cream at the Gaff Rigger.
