Amazing Sunday morning on the river!
Thank you to Tara for being a wonderful guide this Sunday morning, as we enjoyed a 2h long session on sturdy paddleboards along the river. It was only our 2nd time paddleboarding (a year apart) but Tara made it so easy to get on the board and learn to manoeuvre it. This part of the river is so peaceful and tranquil, not too many boats and we were able to practice standing up in a boat free arm of the river, so it was extra safe, especially having children with us. The water was so warm and clean that we all deliberately had a dip to refresh on that sunny morning. The best part was paddling up the river and discovering a wonderful view of Cliveden. I would highly recommend Tara and her team and look forward to our next visit.

We have paddled with Phil and Tara exclusively since they taught us to paddle board 3 years ago.  I really enjoy their knowledge, the variety of trips and the great company.  I wholeheartedly recommend Paddleboard Maidenhead as a great company to paddle with.

I joined Paddleboard Maidenhead in June 2022 and was warmly welcomed from day one. Tara and Phil are absolutely brilliant, they are knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely supportive. From my first paddle with Tara, I connected with her positive energy for our waterways and the rich history of places like Ray Mill Island and surrounding areas. She also teaches yoga, and is always encouraging movement in the right direction, both mind and body.

Phil’s really helped me step out of my comfort zone, building up my technique and confidence — I even managed to paddle 100km over two days, which is something I never thought I’d be able to do!

Whether you're new to paddleboarding or just want a great day out on the Thames, you're in safe hands with Tara and Phil. It’s been amazing for my physical and mental wellbeing, and the year-round paddling community is welcoming to all abilities. I’ve enjoyed every moment, I highly recommend it to anyone!
