Escape the ordinary and immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of the Helford River on a mesmerizing guided kayak adventure. Nestled close to the vibrant town of Falmouth, this two-hour journey offers a unique window into the ecological and historical wonders of one of Britain’s most captivating waterways. Launching from the exclusive Budock Vean Hotel private foreshore, our adventure takes you deep into the heart of the Helford River’s tidal landscapes. Glide across tranquil waters framed by ancient oak woodlands and mesmerizing geological formations. As you navigate the river's serene corridors, our friendly and experienced guides will be your companions, providing expert kayaking instruction and rich tales of the region's history and natural heritage. With a commitment to personalized experiences, we limit our groups to a maximum of eight adventurers on four tandem kayaks, ensuring you receive the attention you deserve. For parties with an odd number, we offer single kayaks, allowing everyone to embark on this unforgettable journey. Safety is paramount, so we require children aged 14 and younger to be accompanied by an adult, and the youngest explorers we take onboard are six years old. Prepare yourself for a kayaking adventure like no other—where every twist and turn of the Helford River unfolds a new story, a new vista to cherish. With Koru Kayaking, you’ll find a seamless blend of relaxation, education, and exhilaration as you explore one of Great Britain’s most picturesque natural wonders.
