We had a great time in our taster lesson.  The instructors were attentive and kind.  We had a lot of fun and felt like we left able to steer and stand on the boards.  The next day, we set off on a river with some confidence and had fun navigating obstacles successfully.

Had a wonderful lesson with Max at Oxford SUP club. I was given a one hour intro session as a gift and yesterday was the 2 hour follow up. Max has a lovely relaxed style and we all enjoyed floating about at Farmoor while he dispensed knowledge and tips. And I didn't fall in!!!

I have been paddling for about 3 years and wanted to improve my technique so booked in with Andrew  on recommendation.
It was a complete game changer! By the end of the session I was paddling with less effort, more efficiency and having so much more fun due to a huge increase in confidence walking and moving on my board, even in challenging conditions. Andrew took the time to assess my technique then resculpted it in an empathetic, encouraging way with no pressure at all.
The way he teaches and guides is obviously tailored to each person, not the "one size fits all" training from many SUP centres so is suitable for a complete novice up to a skilled paddler with many years experience. Whether you are new to paddling or have paddled for many years, you will benefit from tuition with Andrew. It was a session that has hugely improved my paddling technique with instant results and at a very reasonable cost - fabulous!!
It is over a 2 hour round trip for me to get to Oxford and I will be more than happily doing that from now on for regular training sessions. I can't wait for the next one!
