Hooked Kitesurfing

I had an absolutely savage day with Niall recently and kept her lit for a good hour and a half 1-on-1 session on a cold April evening. Niall is an incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging instructor and I was able to see a big improvement in my technique and confidence over the session. His local knowledge of all the surrounding surf spots is vast and the quality of the equipment is excellent too.

I was struggling with the cold during the session and without stopping to think, Niall offered his wetsuit vest to keep me warm so I could finish the session. Thanks a million mate! See you next time!

Really enjoyable day, in spite of the conditions. Niall was very friendly, professional and a good teacher. Had all the equipment to stay warm in the water. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.

I recently attended a half-day introduction session with Hooked Kitesurfing. Firstly, the location is superb, Duncannon beach is ideally situated in a lovely, picturesque, seaside town. The beach is clean, very accessible and safe for kitesurfing. Niall was a great instructor, very patient, and attentive to all the people in the group. We got a wet, rainy, windy day for it but it truly is an all weather adventure sport, there changing facilities on-site, so we were not too put off. Definitely looking forward to going back this summer, for more.

Duncannon and Hooked kitesurfing are a real hidden gem.
Niall is a great teacher and an absolute gent. His setup, right on the beach, is brilliant and Duncannon is the perfect spot to learn this exhilarating sport. Can't wait to get back!
