Jumbo Paddleboard hire

Explore Llys Y Fran Lake with the added fun of having up to 8 people on one giant paddleboard! We'll provide the board, the safety equipment, and the fun! No experience is necessary. The board requires a minimum of 4 people, but can fit up to 8 adults! Please note: This is not an instructor led session.

It costs £80 to hire the Jumbo paddleboard per session.

The price of £20 per person is based on the minimum number of 4 people participating in this experience, if you have 8 people (the maximum amount) the price will automatically update to £10 per person.

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to start time to allow time to change into required kit ready for a safety briefing at the start time.

Please note all participants will be required to wear a helmet whilst using the Jumbo Paddleboard.

The minimum age allowed on the water is 5 years.

5 to 7 years old - Can be on a craft with a responsible adult aged 18+

8 to 13 years old - Can paddle own craft, whilst supervised by a responsible adult aged 18+ on the water

14 to 17 years old - Can paddle own craft with a responsible adult aged 18+ on site that is contactable in the case of an emergency

Weather:

Safety is our number one priority. If weather conditions are poor (e.g. strong winds or thunder and lightning) or other incidents occur, we reserve the right to restrict activity. Advance notice will be given where possible. However, sometimes decisions must be made at short notice. If we close for activities, we will contact all customers impacted to either reschedule or refund.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all visitors! Our visitor centre is fully accessible, featuring a layout that's designed for ease of movement, including plenty of space for wheelchair users.

While many of our walks offer natural beauty and are suitable for various mobility needs, please note that some paths consist of gravel and uneven terrain, which may present challenges for wheelchair access. Additionally, certain trails include some steep inclines, adding to the adventure!

We also offer conveniently located disability access parking bays right by the visitor centre, making it easy for you to start your journey with us.

We encourage all visitors, regardless of ability, to explore our site and participate in our activities. We have changing facilities with warm showers and toilets. Lockers are available with a refundable £1.00.

As part of your activity, we will provide all necessary equipment. We recommend bringing the following items with you:

1. Swimsuit for under your wetsuit.
2. Change of clothes.
3. Towel.
4. Sun cream.
5. Bottle of water.
6. Closed toe footwear.

Please Note: Closed toe shoes are highly advised for water activities.
