What a fabulous experience with Byron & Leigh. we phoned to enquire & get advice as camping nearby before we arrived & Byron was so friendly & helpful! we launched our own two boards & hired two for our teenagers. They were so welcoming & a quick reminder pf safety & ‘pirate rules’! They really helped put the teenagers at ease. Even introduced us to the swans & a quick mentioned of local wild life to look out for. we will be back & will recommend to all our friends! we saw kingfishers, heron, giant dragon flies & other local birds. Great tip stopping at Riverside Inn Saltford for lunch. Really yummy pizzas! we also got 15% discount for dinner back at The Boathouse that evening from Byron & Leigh.

Had a fabulous relaxing boat trip today with a pub stop for a drink to celebrate 2 family members birthdays.
Byron and Leigh were the most entertaining and knowledgeable hosts and made the trip a real joy, my husband had such a laugh he is finding us all rather boring after our great day.

What an excellent boat trip. Out on the water for a lovely trip up the Avon which brilliant guides pointing out the abundance of nature out on the waters edge (Kingfishers, Herons, Cormorants, Buzzards and Moorhens. As well as filling us in on the local history lining the banks. Nice and leisurely, with such lovely views. We will certainly go again and recommend to family and friends.
