Beautiful place to have picnic in the park, you can hire kayaks and spend some time kayaking. There is restaurant with picnic tables beautiful National Trust garden and historic palace to visit, apparently it was location of Bridgertone.
There is often something interesting going on. Open air theatre or art exhibition. Worth going to.

🌞 Spent a sunny afternoon at Osterley Park and it was just perfect. The wide open spaces, blooming gardens, and peaceful walking trails made for a wonderfully relaxing escape. The sunlight through the trees was magical highly recommend for a calm, scenic stroll. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Osterley Park and house in Hounslow is one of the last surviving country estates in London.
It was originally built as a Tudor house but was later transformed by architect Robert Adam for the wealthy Child family who made their money in the banking sector. They used the house for entertaining their clients and associates.
The house is filled with wonderful things,don't forget to look up and see the stunning ceilings too!
There is much to see, the National Trust volunteer guides are also on hand, it's really worth having a chat as they are always a wealth of information, you'll find out so much more than you would by just reading the little information boards.
Outside there are gardens and parkland. Much of the parkland is free to all and has lakes with water fowl and plenty of places to set down a blanket and have a picnic.
There is a car park on site which is free to National Trust members.
