Thursday 19:30 Snowboard Lesson

Come and enjoy a snowboard lesson with Torquay Alpine Ski Club! Our experienced instructors will teach you everything you need to know about how to safely and confidently navigate the slopes. During your one hour lesson, we'll cover proper equipment and technique as well as safety practices so that you can take your skills to the next level. We provide you with a snowboard and snowboard boots while on the slope. So grab some friends, head over to Torquay, and get ready for an exhilarating snowboarding session!

This session covers all snowboarding abilities from beginner to advanced. You will be allocated to the relevant group depending on your ability. Please see the list below for the levels and abilities covered in the session:

1. Snowboarding Stage 1 - Beginners: Have never snowboarded before and are not lift competent
2. Snowboarding Stage 2: Lift competent with basic turns

Minimum age 10 years

1. Bring your own gloves
2. Wear long-sleeved top and long trousers to protect from scratching. Thin leggings do not protect well and are not suitable
3. Snowboard and boots only are provided

1. Snowboard kit allocation will begin at session start time
2. Individuals will spend 1 hour on the slope under instruction
3. Individuals will have time to get changed and kitted up either side of the session
