Stages 1 and 2 are the first two courses in the RYA series.
This course will be taught from Laser Picos.

Suitable for children ages 8 to 15.
Children can be dropped off for the day. Parents need not stay.
Courses run from 10am until 4pm Monday til Friday.
In Summary,
Stage 1 the children learn what to wear, how to rig a boat, to launch and recover it, to sail across the wind and some basic knots, what to wear, and some names of parts of a boat.
Stage 2 more experience rigging, some more knots, capsize recovery, more on the effects of wind direction, we progress to sailing a shallow triangle, understanding hazards, sailing terms com in - like windward, leeward and the 5 essentials of sailing.

Please be aware that throughout the year, but especially early on, courses may be affected by the weather.
Summary Booking Cancellation Terms
If you cancel within 7 calendar days, we will return your money minus a 4% booking fee.
If we cancel for any reason other than weather, we will attempt to re-schedule or refund your money in full.

Please wear your own wetsuit if you have one. Otherwise bring a swim suit to wear under your wetsuit. Bring a towel, a set of old shoes to wear in the water just in case our boots don't fit you. A thin hat to go under a helmet is a bonus. A change of clothes. We don't have a cafe so any food you might want please bring it.
