Youth Group - Dragon Boating

• Train on the dragon boats during your group session
• Race in dragon boats with your group
• Play games on the water

Established youth or uniformed groups can use this page to book a group DRAGON BOATING session. Minimum attendees is 10 people, please book for the number of places you would like 'on the water' including any adults. We have five 10 man boats available for Dragon Boating so when choosing your numbers please consider how they will be split across the boats, with younger children it is preferable to have at least 8 people per boat (plus the qualified helm which we will provide).

1. Participants should be comfortable on and around the water, please let us know if you have any concerns surrounding this.
2. The participant should be able to partake in physical activity for this period of time, please check with your doctor or call us with any concerns.

Please ensure that participants have clothes appropriate to the weather and a change of clothes for after the session including:

1. Footwear - Covering shoes such as old trainers/wet boots - that you don’t mind getting wet (not flip-flops or wellington boots)
2. Lightweight trousers or shorts
3. T-shirt / Long sleeved garment
4. Lightweight sweatshirt
5. Windproof top and trousers
6. Hat, sunscreen
7. Drink
8. Towel and dry clothing
9. Any medication eg: Inhaler, EpiPen (ensure staff are informed of any medication that you drop your child off with).

This session will include set up and pack away time In the middle we will have as much time as possible training on the dragon boats with some races and games.
