  • 1.5 Hour SUP Group Lesson

    Disgrifiad

    1.5 Hour SUP Lesson in a Small Group (up to 5)

    Join this small group SUP lesson, it is a fun introduction to SUP.

    I will go through everything you need to start you paddle boarding adventure.

    I will teach you all about...

    1. Stand-up Paddle boarding equipment .
    2. Water safety and weather conditions for SUP.
    3. Flat water paddling techniques, how to stand up, how to turn etc.

    A 2024 Red Paddle Co. Ride 10'8 or Sport 11'3, paddle & Personal Flotation Device is included in the price.

    You can increase the group lesson size to 8 people if you all know each other. Please message me to arrange.

    If you would like a later lesson time eg. 3.30pm - 5.00pm please let me know.

    Must be able to swim 5m.

    Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Our Red Ride 10'8 paddleboards have a maximum weight 120kg

    You need a wetsuit, wetsuit booties, hat, towel, dry clothes

    Wear something comfortable, bring a towel, dry clothes, sun block and a drink.

    1. Receive safety briefing & introduction


    1. Learn about your equipment, how to set your paddle height, how to correctly hold your paddle & where to stand on your board


    1. Start by paddling on your knees to get a ‘feel’ for the board and how to effectively manoeuvre


    1. Confidently begin stand up paddling


    1. Learn basic paddle techniques – paddling in a straight line, stopping, turning, backwards


    1. Move onto more advanced paddle techniques and turns when ready & comfortable
