An incredible place to Kayak (or Paddleboard!) Adrian and the team are amazing, on arrival I was greeted by the team who kit me out with a wet suit, wet shoes, waterproof phone holder, and a waterproof bag for the kayak. They gave me some helpful suggestions on directions to paddle due to the wind and where to find the best views. The ‘Sheep Hut’ is great, it has showers, changing rooms and toilets all with underfloor heating too which is great when you’re getting back from the lake to get changed!

If my children could give this 10 stars, they would! Adrian and Joe were the best instructors and the activities were very reasonably priced. We did archery, canoeing and kayaking as a family (two adults, one 8 year old, one 10 year old). Joe was very patient, knowledgeable about the water and the local history, and we felt very safe on the water with him. Adrian created fun archery games for the whole family and managed a great team of staff and instructors. All of the equipment was clean and high quality. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing day! We booked for Kayaking and it was phenomenal. All equipment and facilities are provided. Our guide Neil was amazing and we had the best day. We also used the swimming platform/facilities which were also amazing.

Fantastic introduction lesson to paddle boarding for the family. Joe was a great instructor who gave the whole group confidence to try the techniques he taught us. He was brilliant in showing the kids (10 and 12) what to do. The changing facilities and equipment were great too. We all loved it and can’t wait to come back.
