Coasteering
Please be aware we meet and kit up in Beadnell car park and then have a short drive in our own cars to Howick to run the session.
When you arrive in Beadnell car park get a free hour parking ticket.
You will need to bring old trainers or something with a thick sole to wear in the sea.
Coasteering is a mixture of swimming, cliff traversing, rock pooling, cliff jumping and caving and is an ideal activity for adults, kids, groups of friends, families, corporate groups, hen parties and stag parties. It's so good to see the kids enjoying the dramatic coastline and making use of the amazing natural features we have.
We are proud to run quality specialist coasteering sessions along the most amazing Northumberland coastline where we like to keep our group contact close and personal. Most of our sessions take place within a 15 minute drive of Beadnell where the coasteering environment is superb. We have caves, tunnels, rock pools, big jumps and endless amounts of features to see and experience. Oh and of course the 40 feet + jumps at the end if you’re up for it!
If the conditions are not right at one location we have other locations that we use that may be suitable on that day so very few of our sessions need to be postponed or cancelled.
Our aim is to ensure everyone enjoys every minute of their session so there is never any pressure – it’s all about having fun at the right level.
Each route will last for approximately 3 hours or a full day depending on the package you choose.
We can adapt each session for every group and every person to ensure the activity is correct for all ages and abilities. We can even mix activities and run combined sessions of Stand Up Paddle with Coasteering.
The session starts with a safety briefing covering all safety aspects before heading out with your experienced instructor.
All instructors are qualified SLSGB (Surf Life Saving GB) coasteering life guards.
We have spent time training with the best instructors at Newquay with the British coasteering federation. Each session will be run with a minimum of 1 guide to 8 clients.
Most of our sessions will take place within a short drive of Beadnell starting with some simple tasks and building up to what ever level your group can handle. We also have routes planned at other locations for the more experienced coasteerers.
We also have a shop located in Beadnell Carpark at our container selling paddle boards, wetsuits dry robes and more!
Please book early to avoid disappointment
