THE BUDDY SYSTEM:

The buddy system is if you have two or more crafts, everyone is very competent so they are able to rescue each other (deemed by our safety cover on the day) and wearing the correct PFD (personal flotation device).

If you are on one craft (or two people on a double kayak for example) you will be restricted to our safety cover opening times 10-4pm and immediate safety cover area which is the widest width of the lake. Please always check our opening times on the website page before visiting to avoid any disappointment.

On the buddy system you can leave the immediate safety cover area and visit sunrise to sunset - must receive safety brief for last launch at 3pm. Staff will let you know if you can be on the buddy system.
