Wild & Open Water Swim Coaching
Wild & Open Water (WOW) Swim Coaching, through guidance and the application of imparting knowledge, will help you help yourself. You will grow and develop as an Open Water Swimmer and will improve your existing skills helping you achieve your full potential.
Open water swimming has become increasingly popular over the past few years, with swimmers participating in the sport for many different reasons: recreation, fitness, wellbeing, or to compete in open water swimming events. The possibilities are endless and whatever your goals and aims no matter how big or small, there will be coaching sessions to suit you.
You may have specific fears such as, tides, weeds, waves, unknown depth, hidden dangers, jelly fish or just an unquantifiable unease in a new environment. The aim of the coaching sessions is to encourage and educate you as the swimmer, building your ability and confidence so you can safely, efficiently and comfortably obtain everything you want to achieve from Open Water Swimming.
We will look at your technique helping you to achieve the most efficient body position, maintaining effective breathing and maximising propulsion. For the intermediate and advance swimmers we will look at various open water event skills, helping you gain an advantage over your rivals.
