Staying locally and been here twice, ate the 2nd time. Really Good. Excellent real ales and all of us had the Homemade Chilli Con Carne - delicious.  Nice friendly local family run pub 🥰

Fantastic cosy St Austell pub. Had two open fires, and a good selection of beers. Friendly and welcoming staff, would recommend, and would certainly be coming back with family and friends.

First time back since the reopening. We went for the Sunday roast. Other options available,  I had the roast beef, my friend had both turkey and beef. There is a 3 meat option. The food was well cooked and plentiful. Price wise about the average as anywhere else. Atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, all staff were welcoming. Including the new owners who were a delight to talk to. We will return,  whether for a roast, a lunch or just coffee. Highly recommended,  please try it, you will not be disappointed

Amazing place wonderfully atmosphere, brilliantly poured pints i highly reccomend mena dhu stout (reccomended by Pete the bar tender) it was an amazing time overall 10 out of 10. Im going on 20 years old and I believe i have found my favorite pub.

We had an excellent carvery, with good meats,veggies and extras (Yorkshire pudding, pigs in blankets)
A very clean and tidy establishment.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
