Paddle Richmond: SUP Club
Aimed at paddlers of all abilities, SUP Club Richmond is a fun and friendly paddleboarding club. We aim to bring together people who love paddling, love being on the river and who are looking for a low hassle, low cost way to meet and hang out with other local paddleboarders. We are open to anyone over 18 who has paddleboard experience on the river Thames, and who has undertaken at least one introductory, intermediate or advanced lesson with our friends at Paddle Richmond.
Operating from our base in beautiful Richmond we run social paddles most weeks during the season on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings (depending on tides), as well as occasional trips and adventures further afield. Most of our sessions will end with a post-paddle pint (or coffee) at a local pub, and sometimes we will make a pitstop during the paddle trip for a quick drink (or ice cream!).
You will need your own board, lots of enthusiasm, and at least a little bit of experience. There’ll always be an experienced paddleboard coach on hand to provide tips and advice on safety and conditions, but these are social paddles, not lessons! If you don’t have your own board with you we offer reduced rates on board hire for members.
