Saltburn Surf School

Kris, Jonas and the rest of the crew provide excellent tutelage, rental and general good advice for surfing in Saltburn.

They've spent time getting me both into and equipped for the sport and I'm very grateful.

Well worth checking in with them if you're interested in taking up surfing or for advice surfing at Saltburn.

We had a 2 hour surf lesson with Jonas, and he was amazing! Included our surfboard, wetsuit & boot rental, and an instructor led lesson. It was our first time surfing and it was fantastic!

Jonas spent extra time with my girlfriend while she was getting comfortable and confident, and he was incredibly patient and helpful!

Surfboard, wetsuit & boot rental is also available for 1 (£12) or 2 (£18) hours without a lesson!

There are also public showers available one min away too.

Thank you for providing my son an amazing first surfing experience! The coach was very patient with explaining everything including safety first and how to have fun with surfing. He took time to ensure kids are comfortable and at ease. My son really enjoyed it and we will definitely come back and would recommend this place without hesitation!

Had a great time learning to surf in Saltburn on a rather large swell which was tiring! Lesson was well organised with excellent instruction by Chris - who did a great job of making sure he spent enough time with all eight of us in the group lesson. Kit was fine with very thick wetsuits + gloves & boots, and we were plenty warm enough despite being late September. There was space to change and leave stuff in the shop too.
