Johnny cares very much about Glasgow and his guests. it shows throughout. Very enjoyable tour. We had a lovely walk about the city. He shared an amazing curated list of things in Glasgow. That alone could be worth the admission.

Johnny was a top guide, so knowledgeable about so many aspects of the city but also entertaining. It wasn’t all about art, architecture, history, high culture but also so many social, economic and other points of interest. A walk is often an introduction to a city, and this was first class: Johnny made so many suggestions and followed up by sending an amazing guide. As ever with walk, he pointed out numerous things you would never notice if you were wandering without a guide. A thoroughly enjoyable morning

At twice the length and a fraction of the price of other Glasgow walking tours, the Glasgow Gander is an excellent and fun introduction to this city. Johnny's enthusiasm for "Mother Glasgow" made this tour truly immersive and his insider knowledge on the offbeat goings on in the city meant we got an exclusive insight away from the mainstream.
Johnny was considerate of the needs of all tour guests, ensuring everyone was comfortable and making a special effort to connect with each of us individually.
In guiding us through the historic physical and architectural features of the city, Johnny painted a fascinating picture of the undulating cultural and socio-economic development of Glasgow's diverse community.
The follow-up info was also next level, with personal recommendations for things to see and do, and lots of excellent suggestions for eating and drinking, including amazing vegan places, unconventional hangouts, and even pubs favoured by locals for those who wanted a true taste of Glasgow.

The walking tour through Glasgow with Johnny was great fun! Johnny is a very attentive guide and provides lots of information about the history, architecture and culture of Glasgow in an easy-to-understand way - it definitely makes you want to explore the city further on your own afterwards, and Johnny gives you lots of tips for other things to do :)
