Johnny is the sole guide of these tours and you know you’ll get him in all his good humoured braininess when you book. He is by far the most detailed guide I have ever encountered with so much love and enthusiasm for his city the tour was over In a flash. Definitely recommend.

Johnny's witty personality, mixed with his personal knowledge and love of Mother Glasgow, makes for a wonderful experience! He will take you around the city and even behind the scenes in several venues, to truly experience Glasgow's history, architecture, and culture. He even treats his guests to a sample of Scotland's popular and tasty non-alcoholic beverage! | recommend taking this trip early on in your visit, because you'll learn some landmarks as you walk to help you get your bearings later.
Johnny also gives you many restaurant and activity recommendations, but don't worry about taking notes, because he not only makes recommendations while you're on tour, but right afterward he'll send you an email with a thorough (3 page) list of those recommendations, plus many others! This personalized resource alone is worth the very reasonable price of Johnny's tour. DO NOT miss this tour or you will regret it!

Johnny is an AMAZING guide; animated, kindly, funny, and passionate about 'Mother Glasgow'. We had a fabulous time and learned tons of stuff about the city, both old and new. Although it's a three-hour tour, you only walk about 1.5 miles; it's very cleverly designed to take you around and about the heart of the city, with lots of stops on the way to take in the fabulous architecture and stories. We even did an Irn-Bru tasting! Johnny very generously shares an extensive email after the tour covering lots of his favourite places, from bars to day trips, which proved invaluable to us for our stay: I recommend taking the tour as soon as you get to the city, and the rest of your trip will design itself from his recommendations and tips. We love Glasgow: a city with so much heart and character, and Johnny represents it perfectly. An excellent tour, so much fun and amazing value, so glad we found it!

Johnny's an incredibly knowledgeable guide and very willing to engage with any questions you have about the city. Tours were clearly put together by people who love Mother Glasgow. Bit of a trek if you are older but breadth of stops are well worth it to get a full introduction to the city.
