DORSET SUP Stand Up Paddleboarding

We did it! 🎉🎉🎉
Hubby and I had our first ever paddleboarding lesson on Saturday afternoon, with 1st class 1-1 tuition from Matt, Dorset SUP Paddleboarding 🥇
He explained everything thoroughly and made it alot of fun 😄 I still can't believe I actually managed to stand-up paddle, I'm still on a high from it all!
After the session, Matt sent us photos and a video, with an excellent soundtrack!

I had a 121 lesson yesterday morning with Matt because I hadn’t got on a board for many years and was a bit nervous to join the social. Matt immediately put me at ease and gave me fab tips for feeling more confident on the river. He’s a great relaxed teacher and the experience was just beautiful. I’ll definitely be going back next week now I’m standing and even know how to turn properly now. Thank you Matt for a great lesson. Highly recommend.

Booked a 1.5 hour SUP lesson for myself and my partner. We’re both visually impaired and almost complete beginners so double checked that Matt was happy to take us on before booking. Matt’s verbal instructions were fantastic, he was very professional and great fun too. Any adaptations we needed were no big deal to Matt and were made with no fuss. We thoroughly enjoyed our session and will be back for more! Thanks, Matt!

This was a great experience! I had only been on a paddle board once before and had almost immediately fallen in, so I decided to take a lesson and get into some good habits straight away. Matt was very patient with me and was an excellent teacher. I didn’t fall in once and now feel confident on a paddle board. I look forward to using my new skill to go out in groups etc. Thank you Matt- highly recommend

Just had the best morning learning to paddle board with Matt.
He’s a great guy, very professional and explains everything so well. As a complete novice I was so chuffed to be standing up so quickly and with confidence.
I recommend having a lesson with Matt because he runs through the equipment, how to get on and off safely, how to turn and how to stand up, none of which I’d have done properly on my own.

10/10 for a fun filled morning on the river
