Activities away

We came to activities away with a large group of brownies and guides all different ages and confidence levels and everyone had a fantastic time! All the staff were super helpful sorting the safety wavers, getting the right size wetsuits and life jackets, helping all the girls, and making them feel safe. Chloe the instructor was great she had lots of fun activities for us to do and got everyone involved, every girl had a go and left feeling really proud of themselves for standing in the kayak, jumping in, and paddling as a team. We all worked up an appetite from swimming and paddling and the pizza and chips we had afterwards was delicious, I’d come back again just for the food! You get so much for your money and we enjoyed every second. I highly recommend Activities Away for anyone, large groups, children, and adults. I can wait to come back on my own with my standup paddleboard in the near future. Thank you so much for such a special day activities away! 😊🚣‍♀️

Been going here for a few summers now. Easy to book, staff are great and very helpful. Great food on site, the lake is well kept with easy launching of own craft and staff on hand to help. You can hire craft too if you need to. Changing areas, showers and toilets are available too. Car park is handy as right next to the lake and plenty of space to inflate SUPs or lay out kit. Overall, its a fave of ours and both my daughter and I love our times here. If you haven't been yet, ask yourself 'why not?' Get it booked, you won't regret it ☺️

Great place for an outdoor swim. Good amenities and very friendly staff.

It's my 1st year of cold water swimming and it's been amazing. Water safety is taken seriously and everyone is so friendly and encouraging, and the bonus is the coffee afterwards. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and this definately passes the test.
