Description
Come learn all about the fascinating world of mushroom identification!
You'll spend a few hours with Marina, your knowledgeable guide, exploring the local landscape and learning how to find and identify different types of mushrooms. We'll seek to compile a nice list of fungi in the area!
Along the way, you'll gain insight into their habitats, seasons, and typical features, learn how to use books and keys, and how to go about data collection for identification on your own.
This activity is focused on ID practices only, so no foraging will go on, but you can check out my other foraging-focused courses. I like to start my courses however with a sip of wild drink however (think sloe gin)!
This activity is not strenuous as mushroom spotting is a slow-paced activity, though there will likely be mud and the typical forest terrain to navigate.
