We will leave from a paid launch spot along the river Avon paddling towards Bath some 3 miles away. The launch spot will be outside of Bath. Picture yourself gliding over gentle waters, surrounded by the lush landscapes that line the riverbanks, as you paddle your way towards the historic city of Bath. Discover hidden gems along the route and navigate the lively currents as you pass through several portages, adding a sprinkle of adventure to your journey. As we approach the heart of Bath, marvel at the iconic Pulteney Weir, a truly captivating sight to behold from the water. Here, we'll pause for a well-deserved lunch break, giving you the perfect opportunity to recharge and soak up the atmosphere before embarking on our return journey. For those who crave a bit more, after refuelling we may extend our expedition further upstream, exploring an additional 4.5 miles of the river's charm.
