Explore the Old Town with Rick, a Georgia USA native living in Edinburgh since 1989. A master storyteller, he'll guide you through the closes and vennels of the Old Town with history, laughs, and local secrets.


See the city through the eyes of the only Founding Father to sign all three of the key documents establishing the United States: the Declaration of Independence, the Treaty of Paris, and the US Constitution.

Requirements

A general level of fitness is required. We will navigate some steep hills, uneven surfaces, and narrow closes. Distance covered : 1.8km or 2400 steps.






What to bring

The weather in Edinburgh can be 'changeable' but the tour will go on, rain or shine, so dress accordingly. It can be a lot of fun touring Edinburgh in its natural element!



Itinerary

We will meet at David Livingstone Statue between Scott Monument and Waverley Bridge in East Princes St Gardens.


We wind up, over, and through the Old Town, to finish at the top of the Mound approximately 1 hour later.
