RYA PWC Proficiency Course

RYA PWC Proficiency : Course caters for both novices and those that like to brush up their skills and obtain RYA PWC Proficiency .

THIS IS A 1 DAY COURSE !

Course Content :

Safety . Meteorology and interpretation of . Tidal streams and Curve . Launching and Recovery. Charts pilotage and passage planning. The Buoyage system. Limitations of GPS. Documents to be kept on Board . IRPCS: collision regulations. Trailers and slipways.

Slow speed maneuvers. Steering a course. Securing to a mooring buoy, leaving and coming alongside (parking) . Turning in a confined Space. Man overboard recovery. Anchoring . Planning speed maneuvers and slowing down.

Enthusiasm

Sun Cream, a hat , water . Swim Wear . If you have a wetsuit bring it with you .

Copy ID , can be a photo on your phone .

2 x passport photos to be used on your powerboat level 2 certificate / ICC Application .

Based around the Port of CN Altea , learning , new PWC handling skills , plus Theory

We lunch at Bon Vent , restaurant inside Club Nautico Altea .

UNDER 18’s to be accompanied by Guardian or Sudo Guardian on same Course .
