Great place to visit for walkers, water activities, cycling and camping, plus a great cafe with views

We came camping for the weekend which was great value for money, pitches were flat and had views of the reservoir. We chose the site for the pump track, skills area and bike trails which were all excellent. Facilities were great and the cafe was a bonus. The crazi bugz activity was fun and well run. All staff were friendly and helpful. The site was peaceful with lots of birds and wildlife to spot.

Llysyfran reservoir and country park are a beautiful addition to visitors facilities for both local residents and holidaymakers.
The car park is very well maintained and reasonably priced. The visitor centre is clean and spacious, staff are friendly and courteous. The gift shop offers a range of items from those forgotten essentials for those camping onsite to wonderfully crafted art works and gifts.
The cafe offers a good choice of dishes with great views over the water. Diners can choose to eat in the restaurant or al fresco on the terrace.
Adjacent to the visitor centre is a fantastic play area and adventure playground for children.
Visitors can take advantage of a wide range of activities from axe throwing to kayaking & canoeing, fishing, cycling and hiking with a selection of trails available to suit all abilities.
All in all, Llysyfran is a great place for a family day out or the perfect spot for a cuppa and a light bite with amazing views.

What a lovely place to walk over 6 miles and no dog poo and hardly any litter well maintained and friendly people

Beautiful lake and lovely cafe with stunning views. Did the paddle boarding and had a fab day. Staff were excellent and facilities for changing and showering really good too. Would definitely recommend!
