Launch Your Adventure with Bath’s Only BSUPA-Recognised Paddleboarding School

We’re delighted to offer you the opportunity to launch your own paddleboard, kayak, or canoe from our convenient slipway at The Boathouse, Newbridge Road, Bath, along the river Avon, where adventure meets wellbeing.

Launch Details:

1. Launch your craft any time from 10:00 AM onwards.
2. Fee: Just £5 per craft, per day.
3. Please note that if the site gate is padlocked, the key can be found attached on 'our side' of the fence and to the right of the gate as you look in from the pub garden.

1. Booking Reminder: Bookings are per craft, not per person.

What to Bring:

1. Your own paddleboard, kayak, or canoe in safe, usable condition.
2. Suitable clothing and refreshments for your activity.
3. A buoyancy aid for each participant.

Safety and Requirements:

1. Site Rules: Please review the safety guidelines displayed by the slipway.
2. This is a self-launch session, meaning:
3. Channel Kayaks only covers you for the safe use of the slipway but not activities on the water.
4. You should have a working knowledge of your craft and accept responsibility for your own safety and equipment.
5. On the Water:
6. Paddle on the right-hand side of the river.
7. Respect other river users.
8. Keep the slipway clear, as it is in constant use.
