2hr Self Guided Paddleboard Hire

Welcome to Bath's Only BSUPA-Recognised Paddleboarding School.

We are extremely pleased to now be offering Paddleboard Hire with thanks to #AQUAPLANET Bath. From our location at The Boathouse, Newbridge Road, Bath, you can head out along the stunning river Avon and enjoy a 2-hour self-guided adventure. This really is where adventure meets wellbeing. Each hire includes an #Aquaplanet paddleboard, paddle, and buoyancy aid to ensure a safe and enjoyable outing.

Important Information:

1. Safety First: River safety guidance is displayed on-site, and a team member will provide a thorough safety briefing before you set off.
2. Experience Recommended: The minimum group size is 2 persons and at least 1 person must have previous paddleboard experience.
3. Group Requirements: This activity requires a minimum of 2 participants.

5. Buoyancy aids are provided and must be worn at all times during your session. Removal of, or refusal to wear a buoyancy aid will invalidate your board hire period without refund!
6. Paddle on the right-hand side of the river, and always respect other river users.

Additional Notes:

For larger groups, consider hiring our spacious and stable Katakanus!

Essential Items:

You’ll need a fully functioning mobile phone for your trip. We strongly recommend storing your phone in a waterproof pouch to keep it safe and dry. Lightweight, quick drying clothing, is recommended. NO JEANS, HOODIES OR HEAVY CLOTHING.

Please note: A child MUST be accompanied by an adult on this adventure, for safety purposes! The minimum board hire age is 12years

IF YOU PARK IN THE PUB CAR PARK, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ENTER YOUR VEHICLE REGISTRATION INSIDE THE PUB UPON ARRIVAL!

1. At least 1 member of the group to have previous paddleboard experience.

3. To adhere to river rules at all times.
4. Do not remove your buoyancy aid at any time while on the water.
5. Do not remove your safety leash at any time while on the water.
6. No heavy clothing to be worn.
