2hr Guided Paddleboarding Tour-BATH

Welcome to Bath's ONLY BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddle Association) recognised paddleboarding school.

This event is designed for people who have already had paddleboard lessons and are confident enough to join a 2 hour trip along the stunning river Avon.

Your BSUPA qualified instructor will identify seasonal local wildlife which includes otters, kingfishers, herons, cormorants, dragonflies, damselflies, woodpeckers, buzzards, red kites, kestrels, grass snakes, slow worms, numerous ducks, moorhens and of course our resident swans.

After being fitted with a buoyancy aid and listening to a safety briefing , you will head downstream along our beautiful river.

Discuss paddle techniques with your guide or ask any related questions as they will be more than happy to help and advise wherever possible. We have a range of shapes and sizes of paddleboards so feel free to discuss which may suit you best before your tour begins, including our multi rider Dragonboards!

After approximately 2 hours you will arrive back at the start where, as with all of our activities, you can then use a voucher to obtain a 15% discount off of a combination of food and drink within the pub itself...a just reward after your tour!

Due to the distance covered during this trip, (approximately 4.5 miles), we suggest a minimum age of 14 years, although this isn't as important if you are a family or group utilising one of our Dragonboards. (It's always worth a phone call to discuss your particular requirements)

If as an adult, you'd like a young child to accompany you, then they may share your board free of charge but please note that this will make the trip a little harder going for you!

IF YOU PARK IN THE PUB CAR PARK, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ENTER YOUR VEHICLE REGISTRATION INSIDE THE PUB UPON ARRIVAL!

1. Previous paddleboarding experience is essential.
2. Under 16's to be accompanied by an adult.

Minimum age of 14 years for this activity. (Please see the activity description regarding younger children)

1. Suitable clothing for the weather conditions and the session.
2. Drinks/refreshments for the trip
3. Sunscreen/hat/sunglasses
4. Towel
5. Camera/phone (in a suitable waterproof case)
