Embark on an empowering three-day Sea Kayak Coaching Camp with Otter Adventures, designed for women who are ready to develop their kayaking limits in a stunning, serene setting. Nestled in the breathtaking village of Strontian this exclusive camp provides a unique opportunity to explore the relatively sheltered waters of Loch Sunart, Loch Linnhe, Loch Moidart, Ardtoe, Glenuig, etc., under the expert guidance of Cathy, a seasoned coach who has worked with us previously.
Our first camp this season is based in Strontian from 10th to 13th August and is for beginner to intermediate paddlers.

Requirements
Previous experience of sea kayaking is essential if you are to get the most from this course. This is a development course and will start gentle then build as the appropriate to the group. If you are unsure that you have enough (or too much) experience, please get in touch with us first as we have a second, more challenging, camp in Arisaig the following week.
What to bring
As well as making your own arrangements for camping at Tigh-na-mara and food/cooking, please bring your own kayaking equipment with you.
As a minimum, you must have:
- closed cockpit sea kayak (14ft or longer)
- spraydeck
- buoyancy aid (minimum 50N, CE marked and less than 5 years old)
- sea kayak paddle
- helmet
- appropriate outer clothing for sea kayaking (drysuit or two-piece combination preferable to wetsuits)
