Kayak Touring Trip - Portsmouth Harbour

Woodmill is running a kayak touring trip along Portsmouth Harbour!

This trip will be steeped in history. You will set off from Fareham Creek and paddle along the river past Portchester Castle and along the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, viewing all the war ships from the water. You will also have the chance to see the seals in the harbour!

The trip will be all day and will be lead by Moderate water Sea Kayaking leaders.

We will be using touring/sea kayaks dependant on participants ability and preference.

This trip is suitable for paddlers of all abilities, however, we would recommend that participants are water confident, and are of a reasonable level of fitness.

This trip is suitable for beginners who are happy to paddle for up to 4 hours. Children 14 years plus are welcome, but those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We provide all the equipment to take part, however we do require you to bring the following;

1. A full change of clothes
2. Towel
3. Spare pair of shoes
4. Water Bottle
5. Lunch Box
6. Suncream (if worn)
7. Hat/Gloves/Scarf (weather dependant
8. Waterproof coat
9. Cash if you want to purchase anything from the ice cream van or if driving and parking.
