Description
Join Sup2summit and Brendon Prince for a wild Scottish coastal paddling adventure around the Ardnamurchan peninsula!
This is a five day four night expedition! The total cost of this trip is £650. A £100 non refundable deposit is to be paid at time of booking with final payment due 6 weeks prior to the trip.
The Ardnamurchan in Gaelic means - The headland of the great seas, it is a 50-square-mile peninsula in the Lochaber area, known as the outdoor capital of the UK, noted for being very unspoiled and undisturbed. The most westerly point of mainland Britain!
Carrying all our camping equipment and food on our boards, this is five days of challenging paddle boarding and wild camping around some spectacular scenery and wildlife. This adventure is not suitable to beginners and even intermediates should be paddling to a very confident level. We would expect that participants can comfortably paddle up to maximum of up to 20km per day in less than ideal conditions.
This is a full expedition with no support and very committing. Customers should be comfortable paddling this distance before taking on this challenge. Full coaching and guiding will be done throughout the trip.
WILD Camping - As well as spectacular wild camping sites, we also provide quality tents and thermarest style air bed and dry bags to carry all this plus your own kit. All you need to bring is your own personal paddling gear, clothing and a 2/3 season sleeping bag. A kit list will be sent out to you in the whatsapp group chat.
Food - We provide breakfast, lunch and evening meals while out on expedition unless stated differently above.. These are in the form of porridge packs and rehydrated expedition foods. A list will be sent out for your choice of meals. We use Real Turmac expedition foods.
Your safety is always our primary concern, we use a 1:4 ratio with groups of 6 having an assistant guide on expedition. Our trip leaders are highly qualified SUP Expedition Guides with advanced first aid qualifications. Our guides are some of the most experienced sup guides in Scotland, operating in multiple locations across Scotland all year round!
