The Quays Swimming & Diving Complex

Staff lovely happy to help, changing rooms, lockers, showers not very clean, barely luke warm water in the shower, doors don’t lock, most of the locks broken. I have been there regularly 14-10 years ago it was much cleaner and cheaper.

Perfectly nice enough.

Brought kids here for Wet & Whacky session in the lagoon pool. Perhaps better suited to younger children as the whole pool is shallow and there’s no access to the main pool without booking a separate session. Three slides, two spray things and plenty of inflatables and things to use.

Changing rooms need padlocks. Locks for the changing cubicles don’t work. So far as public swimming pools go, I don’t think it was particularly dirty. Certainly cleaner and less decrepit than Romsey rapids. Could smell the chlorine when walking in.

Nice cafe area looking after the smaller lagoon pool.

All staff friendly and helpful.

Attended here with fire aid in Hythe for a STCW Refresher course in the dive pool. Facilities were excellent, staff friendly and helpful. The cafe is reasonably priced for snacks and coffee etc
Only one downside is the hairdryers in the ladies changing facilities are extremely underpowered compared to other large pool/gym facilities. Prepare to be there for some time if you don't want to risk going out in the chilly air with wet hair. The splashpool, jacuzzi and waterslide looked fantastic but we're not open during my visit as it was during the day.

Coffee in the cafe was lovely, the lady was a vibe and the pigeons found it felt like home too.

I didn't go there for the gym or swimming, I was there for a massage with the physiotherapist, Lois.

It was Incredible! 😀

Visited here today for a swim..was abit apprehensive as the ladies changing rooms were closed due to renovations and I thought it might be really hectic and busy as it's the kids holidays, used the family changing rooms which was fine and the pools weren't too busy..an enjoyable experience and I was glad I went...as usual! Sarah on reception was friendly and helpful which makes a big difference too...so please don't be put off by changing rooms being temporarily closed and thinking it will be mad busy as it's all running smoothly 🙂👍
