The Quays Swimming & Diving Complex

Visited here today for a swim..was abit apprehensive as the ladies changing rooms were closed due  to renovations and I thought it might be really hectic and busy as it's the kids holidays,used the family changing rooms which was fine and the pools weren't too busy..an enjoyable experience and I was glad I went...as usual! Sarah on reception was friendly and helpful which makes a big difference too...so please don't be put off by changing rooms being temporarily closed and thinking it will be mad busy as it's all running smoothly 🙂👍

I am a wheelchair user and finding places that are wheelchair accessible is hard work. The staff here make me feel very welcome and help me in and out the pool with the pool lift. They are encouraging of my goals and make sure that lane swimming is just that. They have had some issues with the building yes but they also do their best to resolve it. The gym is not directly accessible by lift so when i go to do my gym workout i have to tell them im coming in advance so they open the gym door for me. But that is no hard ship. I have had a lot of good advice what i could do in the gym to help with my upper body strength as i cant do anything with my legs. I have found them very kind and welcoming and i look forward to my visits.

Did a PST course with Fire Aid there. Arrived 2 hours early but the cafe had no problems keeping me topped up with tea while I waited.

Nice warm pool,

Good pool, with 2 slides. Two small hot tubs as well. Family changing rooms can be busy and sometimes a little dirty. Female and males ones not as busy. Enough parking, lifeguards and facilities. Cafe and swimgear shop is pricey. But all on all a good family swim experience!

Visited here for a swim last week , first time id been for awhile,the pool wasn't too busy,everything nice and clean and the man on reception at the time (lee) was really pleasant and helpful,good staff make all the difference to a visit...he is an asset to the company!
Really enjoyed my swim aswell...will be back soon 😀thanks!
