This fun and engaging 3-day beginner course introduces young sailors to the basics of dinghy sailing. Participants will learn essential skills, including launching and recovery, steering, basic boat handling, and understanding wind direction. The course is taught through a mix of on-the-water practice and shore-based learning in the sheltered waters of Southampton, providing a safe and supportive environment. By the end of the course, students will have achieved their RYA Stage 1 certification, marking their first step into the world of sailing.
