A thrilling two-day course to transition from dinghy sailing to catamarans!

Description

Looking to take your sailing skills to the next level? Our Active Sail: Introduction to Catamarans course at SWAC is the perfect opportunity for young sailors to experience the thrill of sailing a catamaran or multihull over the School Holidays.

Designed for those who have already mastered the basics of sailing a monohulled dinghy, this course helps students transfer their existing skills to a faster, more dynamic boat. With a focus on boat handling, balance, sail control, and manoeuvring, participants will learn how to manage the unique characteristics of a catamaran, including steering with twin hulls and adjusting to the increased speed and stability.

This fun and engaging two-day course is run by experienced instructors and provides a safe yet exciting environment for young sailors to build their confidence on the water.

Please note: This is a non-certificated course, and students must have completed RYA Stage 3 before enrolling.
