  • Discover Loch Lomond and the islands by luxury speedboat.

    Description

Each island on Loch Lomond has its own story to tell. From ancient castles and clan burial grounds to beautiful forest walks and stunning view points all the islands have something to offer.

90 minute Tour - Visit the enchanting island of Inchcailloch for a walk or stop at the island pub on Inchmurrin for a drink.

2 hour Tour - Take a little longer to fully explore Inchcailloch. You will have approximately an hour to walk up to the ruined church and burial ground and, if you are feeling fit, climb the small hill on the island. From here you are rewarded with panoramic views of the highlands.

2.5 hour Tour / 3 hour Tour - Visit Inchcailloch and Inchmurrin, the largest of the loch's islands. The views from the ruined Lennox Castle are spectacular and the owners of the island run a wonderful pub in which you can stop for a drink afterwards or bite to eat.

Please note that the maximum capacity of the boat is 8 people regardless of age.

The pub on Inchmurrin Island is open from 1st April - 31st September 7 days a week from 12pm. Occasionally they close for private functions so it can be wise to check in advance.

BOOKING NOTE: please make sure you put a 1 in the box saying number of speedboats or the calendar will show no availability.

    Requirements

There is a short walk of about 2 minutes from the car park to the jetty. Parking at Portnellan is free of charge.

Participants must be able to step from the jetty down onto the boat. The step can range from about 30cm to 1m depending on loch level. There is a short ladder if the water level is low.

    What to bring

Please remember to bring warm and waterproof clothing and appropriate footwear such as walking boots or trainers.
