Wimbleball Lake Activity Centre

We love Wimbleball and come every year as a group with friends for the weekend. The camping facilities are excellent. The lake is beautiful and the staff are super friendly. We hope the little cafe might be up and running again soon. Can't wait to come back.

Went kayaking here. Lovely lake price are a bit steep to rent a kayak £27 for a hour that’s 45p a minute 😮. And even if you bring your own you still have to pay to launch it. Lovely place though nature at its best.

We went camping for a long weekend to celebrate the Summer solstice and Father's Day. The pitch was a good size and there were ample wash up facilities, clean toilets and showers you don't pay for separately. There is a useful fridge on site, but no freezer. The Café was closed and we were told it doesn't open at the moment. So don't rely on the Café and do bring supplies. The lake is serene, the dam has stunning views and it was brilliant for wildlife and photography. Going back soon to explore more around the lake.
