HIRE - Stand Up Paddleboard

Our half day SUP hire is operated from our HQ on Port Gaverne beach.

Hired equipment is for use exclusively in and around Port Gaverne within boundaries defined by the days sea conditions (unless taking away on multi-day hires). See our hire page on the website for images of the boundaries we use. If conditions are deemed unsafe for all paddling then we will notify you in advance wherever possible and refunds can be arranged.

1. 1 person per board.
2. For safety reasons, sharing boards is NOT permitted for paddling beyond the bay itself.
3. Buoyancy aids are included with ALL hires.
4. Wetsuits can be hired at an additional cost but are compulsory when sea temp is < 14 degrees Celsius.
5. Mobile phone must be taken on the water if venturing beyond the bay.
6. A "waterproof" phone case can be provided FOC.
7. Any under 16's must be accompanied by an adult if paddling out of sight of the beach.
8. A valid driving licence must be kept as security for the duration of the hire.
9. You will need to watch a 2-3 minute instructional video on arrival.
10. Arrive 15 mins before hire time slot.
11. WARNING - No refunds or extended time slots for late arrivals.

The North coast of Cornwall can be unpredictable and rough at times. If you don't feel confident paddling a SUP or Kayak then please get in touch prior to booking OR book onto a guided trip instead.

WANT LESS TIME? We do 1 hr hires as well - get in touch direct to book (or chance it on the day).

1. Participants should be able to swim 50m unaided.
2. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
3. You must leave a driving licence as security on the equipment for the duration of the hire.
4. 'Beyond the bay' hirers must carry a mobile phone.
5. Weight limit - 100kg max limit. They become very unstable near this limit especially in waves.

1. Please ensure that one member of the group has a MOBILE PHONE.
2. DRIVING LICENCE to be left as security.
3. Towel and appropriate clothing (you WILL get wet).

6. Return equipment to the designated area
7. Check out and collect driving licence.
