Description
- Accessible to all!
- Learn some basic kayaking skills before setting off as a group to explore the surrounding coastline.
- 2 hours taking part in the activity.
- Discover secret coves, unspoilt sandy beaches, venture into otherwise inaccessible caves and spot some of the amazing marine wildlife and seabirds that live here.
- Includes the use of all necessary equipment, including a warm wetsuit, thick-soled wetsuit boots, a buoyancy aid and a helmet as well as the sit-on-top kayak and paddle.
- We primarily use double sit-on-top sea kayaks that are extremely stable and allow you to paddle efficiently either alone or as a pair.
- Participants must be 8+ years old and competent swimmers (i.e. be able to swim 25M in a pool unaided), although we can accommodate younger children if accompanied by a carer and subject to conditions and availability.
- We ask that preferably children under 14 years old are accompanied by an adult. If this is not possible then please get in touch to discuss alternatives.
Requirements
Kayaking is a physical activity!
Ensure that all participants:
- Can swim at least 25mtrs unaided.
- Are comfortable wearing restrictive water sports equipment.
- Feel confident they can tolerate up to 2hours of physical exertion.
- Do not have any physical or mental conditions which will significantly affect their balance, vision or coordination.
- Weight limit - 200kg max per double kayak.

What to bring
Itinerary
- Arrive at HQ on time.
- Meet your guides.
- Get fitted and changed into necessary equipment (provided).
- You can leave bags/clothes with us in our lock-up.
- Briefing on activity, route and conditions at waters edge.
- Go KAYAKING!!
- Back to the beach.
- Get changed into warm/dry clothes.
- Refuel - We sell hot drinks, ice cream and snacks at our HQ.
