What better way to start your day than waterside yoga at the reservoir?
This Hatha yoga class is suitable for all levels (no prior experience needed) and intended to gently awaken, move and stretch the body, get the neurons firing in the brain and breathe in the fresh air and possibilities of a brand-new day. All whilst in the stunning setting of Llanishen Reservoir, surrounded by the dawn chorus. Every morning, we are offered a new opportunity to meet ourselves and start afresh and yoga can help us to reconnect with body, breath and mind and set us up for an all-round, great day!
Please note, these sessions will be in a marquee, outdoors so layer up and bring a blanket for relaxation. The floor of the marquee is coconut matting, so it is a little padded, but own yoga style mats are recommended. Session Instructor will be Kate Holly. Kate qualified as a Yoga Teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2013. She has a welcoming and authentic approach and is very passionate about Yoga and helping others to explore its benefits.
Good to know- Entry is only available via the main site entrance. Check in at reception in the visitor centre prior to the start of the activity. Paths around the reservoir will not be open until 09:00. Changing facilities, showers and toilets are available in the visitor centre.
