Join us at the Lisvane and Llanishen Visitor Centre in Cardiff for an extensive, two-hour induction into this invigorating activity, followed by your first guided cold water dip. Conducted by our team of expert instructors, We will be covering essential topics on safety and health benefits, best practices and suitable equipment. You'll come to understand the mental and physical challenges involved, and the fantastic wellbeing benefits one can gain from routine cold water immersion. Upon completion of the induction, you receive exclusive access to join our cold water dipping community, where you'll be able to participate in our ongoing meetups and events, gaining a new adventurous way to unwind, stay fit, and build resilience all year round. Experience the power of icy depths as they rejuvenate you – body, mind, and soul. Embrace the chill, face the thrill – knock out routine stresses with our Cold Water Dipping Induction.     Minimum age of 12 - Must be accompanied by responsible adult.


    £25 per person, which will include two hour classroom based induction, membership card and first dip.

    Requirements

    Medical - It is a strong recommendation that you seek medical advice before your first session.

    What to bring

    ·Swimwear or a wetsuit

    ·Shoes you are happy to get wet (old trainers or water shoes) – footwear must be worn when entering or exiting the water

    ·Hat – A warm hat and a spare hat to change.

    1. A dry robe or warm synthetic jacket.
    2. Towel
    3. Change of clothes
    4. Snacks & a water bottle if wanted. (warm drink)
    5. Tow float (available to hire, included with induction)

Great food but service a bit slow. Lovely walk around reservoir but walk not dog friendly. Children also have to stay on the path. No freedom to run around

Lovely place to visit, both lakes had plenty of wild fowl, lots of swans. Had a brew and pastry. Sat watching the world go by a lovely place to relax. They do do water sports here and your able to walk round both lakes.
