    Channel your inner Celtic Warrior and test your skills in the art of archery. This instructor led session will enable you to learn the traditional art of archery and compete against friends and family.


    This have a go session is ideal for people who would like to try their hand at archery for the first time, or have tried a few times before. Whether you’re a family with children or a couple of mates, you’ll all enjoy this adventure.


    The activity instructor will support you throughout to ensure everyone enjoys the session safely. Upon arrival please check in at the Activity Centre.

    

    The minimum age limit for this activity is 6 and above.


    6 to 7 years old – Must be directly supervised in the same lane by a responsible adult (18+) whilst participating.

    8 to 13 years old – Must be supervised by a responsible adult aged 18+ either participating or spectating.

    14 to 17 years old – Must have a responsible adult aged 18+ on site that is contactable in the case of an emergency


    Safety is our number one priority. In the event of poor weather conditions (e.g. strong winds or thunder and lightning) or other incidents we reserve the right to restrict water access to particular user groups, restrict the area available for activities, or close the lake. We will endeavour to give advance notice whenever possible; however sometimes decisions need to be made at short notice. If we close the lake, we will add a message to our website and endeavour to contact all customers impacted to offer the opportunity to reschedule their session or receive a refund.





    What to bring

    Please complete your disclaimer and medical information ahead of your visit – this will be prompted through your online booking. If this information isn’t completed in advance, it can cause delays to you starting your session. This information must be completed for every person participating.


    Land activities:

    ·Flat, closed toe footwear for archery and axe throwing

    ·Long sleeved top for archery

    ·Long hair must be tied back for archery and axe throwing

    ·Suncream

    ·Hat – either a warm hat or sunhat depending on the weather

    ·Bottle of water

    ·Waterproof coat

    Itinerary

    1.Make sure you arrive in good time and have signed all relevant disclaimers and medical declarations in advance

    2.Check in at the Activity Centre reception

    3.Changing rooms and lockers are available

    4.Meet your instructor

Wow, a beautiful place to visit with the family. If you're into trekking, go past the bbq areas and past the gold course. There is a little treasure at the end which the kids will love.
