Description
Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Level 1 – Start Sailing
An introduction to dinghy sailing, covering the minimum knowledge required to get afloat under supervision (two-day course). No previous knowledge of sailing is required as this course is aimed at beginners. This course does involve moving around the dinghy. If you have difficulty moving in small spaces, please consider our Keelboat sailing course instead.
This course is aimed at adults. We also offer youth sailing courses which can be booked separately.
Please be aware this course requires a minimum of 2 people to run.
Safety is our number one priority. If weather conditions are poor (e.g. strong winds or thunder and lightning) or other incidents occur, we reserve the right to restrict activity. Advance notice will be given where possible. However, sometimes decisions must be made at short notice. If we close for activities, we will contact all customers impacted to either reschedule or refund.
