  • sailing

  • 30 mins

  • Max 7 people

Take part in our open day on Sunday 4th May and give dinghy sailing a try!

Description

Llandegfedd Activity Centre is running an open day on Sunday 4th May 2025.

Our 30 minute dinghy sailing taster session will give you the opportunity to go sailing with an experienced instructor from Llandegfedd Activity Centre.

Please be aware the maximum capacity per boat is 3 people. If you book for more than 3 people, your group will be split across two different boats.

There will also be the opportunity to chat to staff from the Activity Centre about how to get involved and progress your sailing skills!

We are an accredited RYA training centre!

These sessions will be run in partnership with Llandegfedd sailing club with some of their friendly, qualified instructors.

The minimum age allowed on the water is 5 years.

5 to 13 years old - Will need to be in a boat with a responsible adult aged 18+

14 to 17 years old - Can be in a boat on their own, with a responsible adult aged 18+ on site that is contactable in the case of an emergency.

Safety is our number one priority. In the event of poor weather conditions (e.g. strong winds or thunder and lightning) or other incidents we reserve the right to restrict water access to particular user groups, restrict the area available for activities, cancel sessions or close the lake. We will endeavour to give advance notice whenever possible; however sometimes decisions need to be made at short notice. If we close the lake, we will add a message to our website and endeavour to contact all customers impacted to offer the opportunity to reschedule their session or receive a refund.

Took my son and his friend paddleboarding. They had a great time and reasonably priced. I watched front the canteen. Good coffee at a decent price. 1hr free parking then £3 all day.

Such a beautiful place! We stopped here for a coffee so didn’t try the food, though it did look amazing! I will definitely be back with my dogs and spend a bit longer here
