Join Big Green Groms for an exciting after-school surf adventure on the beautiful, uncrowded Crantock Beach! Designed specifically for kids aged 5 to 16, our club offers a safe, supportive, and fun environment where young surfers of all skill levels can develop their surfing skills with expert guidance from our friendly instructors. Each two-hour session combines surf coaching, water safety, and plenty of beachside fun, fostering confidence, fitness, and a real love for the sea. Set against the stunning backdrop of Cornwall’s National Trust-managed coastline, Big Green Groms isn’t just about surfing — it’s all about community, adventure, and making lifelong friends. Our small group sizes ensure personalised attention and lots of encouragement, whether your child is catching their first wave or mastering new moves. Sessions run 16:30-18:30, please aim to arrive by 16:30 to ensure a prompt start. We will wait for any latecomers until 16:45, if you are likely to arrive after this time please message on the Big Green Groms WhatsApp groups.

Pickup is at 18:30 from the beach carpark

We run Big Green Groms on a non-profit basis and only use the membership fees to cover our running costs. If we have any surplus we will use leftover funds for additional benefits like extra equipment, end of term parties, social evenings etc. however our main priority is to keep the basic sessions as affordable as possible.
