Description
Combine an introduction to Stand Up Paddle Boarding with a SUP yoga session. Master standing and balancing on the water, and then get ready to practice downward dog and sun salutations with your SUP with Yoga instructor Caroline or Katya. SUP Yoga is a popular yoga-fitness fusion involving practicing a yoga routine on paddleboards while floating on water. At the end there is a chance to practice some SUP skills and harder Yoga poses. Warning....this is going to be fun! You might get wet but the more you try the more fun you will have 😊
An inclusive and fun day with no previous SUP or yoga experience necessary.
Itinerary
Please aim to arrive 15 mins before session start time.
1.5 hours master and improve your SUP skills.
Break for refreshments (provided).
1-hour guided yoga session on the boards.
Half an hour free time to practice and have fun on the boards.
We will provide you with all the equipment you need including comfortable wetsuits, tops and PFDs to keep you warm and safe.
You should wear swimwear to go under your wetsuit or if it is warm you may wish to wear shorts or leggings to go with one of our neoprene tops. Also make sure to bring a towel and change of clothes, shoes you don't mind getting wet, and any medication you may need e.g. inhalers.
Dogs
Sorry dogs are not allowed by the lakeside but can be walked on some local paths nearby.
Cancellation and Bad Weather
Occasionally, due to bad weather (high winds), instructor availability or very low booking numbers, we may need to cancel your paddleboard session. On these occasions we will attempt to reschedule your lesson, and if this is not an option, we will offer you a credit voucher or full refund. We will always endeavour to contact you as soon as we are able to discuss the options with you.

Physical requirements
You must be able to swim and be comfortable falling in the water. You will be wearing a buoyancy aid during the introduction to SUP, but will be invited to remove it during the yoga session as it will take place in shallow water. There will be a SUP instructor supervising the yoga session for safety.
You must have the flexibility to get from standing to kneeling unassisted.
We will also need to know of any recent injuries prior to the session.
You are advised to shower/wash after the session if you have fallen in, and need to ensure that any open cuts are covered. There are hot shower facilities at Ellerton Lake.
Minimum age 16. U18s must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
